We can’t wait to meet you!

What To Expect

Our worship services offer engaging music, meaningful messages, and welcoming environments for all ages, with secure kids’ programs, accessibility accommodations, and fellowship opportunities.

  • What Should I Expect During a Typical Worship Service?

Our worship services last about one hour and feature high-energy music followed by a thoughtful, engaging message rooted in the Bible. Every service is ended with a time of reflection for communion. You can pick up communion elements on the tables at the back of the sanctuary each week. After communion, we offer a time for anyone to come forward to join the Northwood family, make a first-time commitment of faith, let us know you are interested in baptism, or recommitting your faith.

  • What Should I Wear?

You’ll see a wide range of attire—from polos and dresses to t-shirts and jeans. We want you to come as you are, dressed comfortably to worship with us!

  • Do You Have Services for Kids?

Yes! Nursery care is available for children two and under, and Kids Church—with age-appropriate teaching and activities—is offered for kids ages three through 5th grade during all worship services.

  • What About Youth Services?

Youth Worship happens every Sunday at 11am for both Middle and High School students. High School Youth Group and Middle School Youth Group meet separately, both on Wednesdays at 5:30pm.

  • What Accessibility Services Do You Offer?

Our Wednesday 6:30 p.m. worship service is ASL interpreted. The building is fully ADA accessible, including wheelchair-friendly entrances and restrooms.

  • Where Do I Park?

Parking is available in our main lot and next door at the Volunteers in Medicine Clinic. Handicapped parking spaces are located near the church’s front doors for easy access.

  • Is Kids Church Secure?

Children are cared for by experienced caregivers and volunteers in a clean, safe environment. Our secure check-in system ensures only authorized adults can drop off and pick up children. Separate rooms are provided for infants and toddlers.

  • Are There Any Refreshments?

Yes! During Sunday worship services, join us for fellowship in the lobby and Fireside Café, where free coffee, tea, and hot chocolate are available.
